About Black Men's Therapy Fund

Black Men's Therapy Fund (BMTF), a non-profit led by Black, Trans, and Queer individuals with disabilities, is dedicated to addressing the urgent mental health needs of Black men across various intersections. Our mission is to cultivate Black mental wellness by fostering culturally responsive eco-systems of support, strengthening accountability to self and others, and confronting harmful beliefs about Black Masculinity. We do this by providing comprehensive support through professional psychology and therapeutic services, educational resources, workshops and discussion groups, advocacy, and engagement in the creative arts. Our goal is to ensure that all men, especially those who face the greatest marginalization, have access to the tools, resources, and support necessary to prioritize their mental well-being.
